LOS ANGELES, July 5, 2013 /PRNewswire/ — Tanna Frederick, Co-Founder of non-profit organization, Project Save Our Surf, and Vice President Karon Pardue will host Project Save Our Surf’s second annual Consurfvation Camp. The program provides young teens and children from underserved communities access to the empowering sport of surfing and the self-esteem improving practice of yoga.
Starting on July 5th 2013, Project Save Our Surf will start a two month, seven stop tour through Southern California, culminating on the coast of Sayulita, Mexico. The goal is to empower children and teens, build self-esteem, educate them about environmental issues, plastic re-cycle, our ecosystem, as well as teach them how to surf. California stops will include Haskell’s Beach, Santa Barbara, Carpinteria, Ventura, Tobinworld School, and Mission Beach.
